Should i do this or is it cheating?

I just got out of a relationship with this person I was dating or well I am assuming it is over since they will not answer the phone. I have this one friend who has always had a crush on me and I tolerate them to a point but refuse to cheat on the person I am with or was with. I at this time since assuming the relationship is over am flirting with my other friend who has broke up with a person they with since that person dumped them and they are not sad anymore. The other person who likes to flirt with me even when I am dating someone wants to hang out since it was my birthday. I ignore them most of the time however I get something for free and holding my obligation as a friend. I am thinking this might not be worth tolerating them clinging to me for a afternoon. Is this a bad idea?

    You are single? They are single? Seems like you can mingle. If you are in the process of saving the past relationship or starting a new one, do not try and juggle two. You have to focus on one to see if it is worth it. You can also try honesty and let the other person know you were dating someone or are dating someone but do not know what, if anything will grow from that.

      I did not see them for a year. I recently did but that was a month ago that I went to see them in person. Now they are not answering face book or phone at all. I do not see them all that often anymore. My friend go’s to the same church as them and is going to ask them to contact me.

        By not having contact with them for a year, I am pretty sure you can't cheat on them.

          What do you mean? Well we did not have contact but we had been texting each other but seems after I saw them in person I have no been able get a hold of them.

            Wait, what? How long have you not been able to contact them? If they have avoided you for over just a few days, you should move on and do what you do. If they get mad at you for dating other people, it is their own fault for not communicating to you what is going on.

              Well they use to but they stopped for some reason and I do not understand. They use to call me week to every couple a weeks and text me but it just stopped and now I have no idea.
