Should i cut off my friend?

I’m tired of her trying to provoke jealousy out of me as if I’m stupid and I can’t see what she is doing. Im very intuitive and I can sense it, being around her brings me down. Plus she gets funny and territorial around our guy friend even though she would never date him. In fact she uses him a lot. Also belittles me subtly and claims its a joke. Trust me I can take a joke but she jokes about parts of my personality. It’s annoying and I don’t know if I can deal with it anymore. How did we become friends? IdK but I’m not an angry person normally so is this a sign that I should cut this person off?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

She sounds like an insecure little girl and having a friend to feed off of will only delay her being forced to look at herself and see her issues. I would cut her off but explain why first.

Definitely talk to her. If you don't do this first you aren't doing your job as a friend, and are bound to have this happen again.

You may find she has no idea.

I have made people cry before from telling them they were hurting me and they felt so bad because they didn't mean to.

you have a guy friend in common ? well you could fuck his brains out and claim him as your sexual property. that might end your relationship with her yet still retain the guy as a friend. But you know what she will do , she will also fuck his brains out behind your back , so unless you are better in the sack or your vagina is a fresh as a winter snow it might be better just to walk away.

Try to talk to your friend first. Bridge burning is usually messy.

She sounds pretty toxic to me, and you may very well have to cut her loose, or least limit the time you spend with her. You talk about her subtly belittling you, and honestly I think that passive aggressive shit can actually be worse than being direct and tactless.

Maybe ya'll are both getting on each other's nerves?
