I just think it is really healthy for him and it really helps us to bond. But he is 10 now and soon he will be at an age where it might be considered inappropriate. I was thinking about starting to pump so he can drink it without the breast, but we wouldn't get the bonding time that way.

As surprising as it may seem, I know a couple of women who have breastfed their sons until they were in their teens. Both of them were very similar in that they both had another baby when their sons were about 9 or 10. The women breastfed their new babies and their sons were jealous. The older boys became a problem so their mothers let them suck on her breasts. The older sons settled down and everything was good. The older sons were about 14/15 when they stopped breastfeeding. It may happen a lot more than people realize because it is something that is not talked about - a real taboo.
It's generally inappropriate after about two, and that's probably an over estimation on my part.

On a serious note, this kinda behavior can cause serious issues, especially with bullying, my cousin had a pacifier till he was like five or six, and he lost several teeth when a bully slammed his face into a drinking fountain at school.
