Should i break up with my boyfriend and ask out my crush?

I’ve had a crush on someone for over a year, months before dating my current boyfriend. Normally my feelings go away within a few weeks, but this crush is still here. I deeply care about my boyfriend and don’t want to hurt his feelings. However, I don’t feel as strongly about him as I do for them. I go to the same school as my crush, and my boyfriend and I are in a LDR (he lives an hour away). My boyfriend is a bad texter and we don’t talk much outside of dates. On the other hand, my crush and I talk daily. What should I do?

    Hitting on someone else while taken and staying with someone you don’t have the same feelings for is shitty. Just leave and go for what you want. Simple shit.

    End your relationship. You obviously aren't that into it anymore. It sounds like you aren't satisfied with the level of communication. I wouldn't be either to be honest - regular texting and phonecalls are very important to me if my husband goes away for work or something. It shows that they are thinking about you.

    And referring to someone who is one hour away as long distance makes it sound like you really don't want to make the effort anymore. One hour is nothing. It could be another district in the same city lol. Sounds to me like you've emotionally checked out. It's nothing to feel guilty about so long as you end the relationship respectfully.

    tell the truth. nothing angers me more than lies when it comes to relationships. I would only tell the truth if you feel like those feelings won't go away. if I was that "boyfriend" I would appreciate the truth before things go south.

    Your current relationship can't end well if you don't feel attracted to him. Break up with him face-to-face and get with the other person after a while.

    I'm going through this situation as well. However, my feelings for this person only shows up a few days almost every month. I don't do anything because it fades away and I end up loving my fiance even more.
