I recently did a stand up comedy gig at college first time ever doing this.In general i got a good reception,people were surprised at my sense of humour .It had a lot to do with sex and the unrealistic views of porn , Im a female and im quite outspoken but one guy said it was vulgar .It really wasn't that bad i mean my close friends said it was hilarious.I know I cant please anyone .I just need advice or a different opinion .

    Kind of difficult to comment without hearing your routine.
    But keep in mind there will always be haters.

    Hecklers and Haters are part and parcel of the journey. Feedback allows YOU to decide how your style will evolve and to improve your set. When someone tells you how offended they were, twenty someone's are driving home still laughing! Push boundaries make your mark :) PS next time tell them you greatly appreciate the feedback but you don't think it would work out between you.

      Nope , unless someone else did and I dont know about it.It was a small gathering
