so i have this really good friend of mine and i have liked her for a long time now i have tried to give her some hints and so on and i think she might like me to but im not sure so should i ask her out i have known her for about 5 years now and we are close to each other but if she says no i dont want it to ruin our friendship so plz advise or something thx! btw im a guy and shes hot!

It all depends, I hate to say it but, Yolo. If you don't do it, you might always wonder, might as well give it a shot. One tip, try to sit near her once and say like scratch your leg and put your hand on top of hers and see what she does, if she pulls away immediately, don't ask her out, if she holds it there for a few seconds, looks at you and raises a eyebrow, you apologize and don't ask her out, if she leaves it there for a few seconds and looks at you and you look at her and you see her blush or if you give her a slight smile and she smiles back, go for it, also, if she laughs at your jokes, they're probably funny, my guy friends laugh at my jokes and they don't want to fuck me... at least I hope they don't.
Say that you suggest a date, make it in a very joking manner and see how she responds!
You want to be sure that she likes you, wish I could give you hints. Most people would say she laughs at all your jokes or smiles at you a lot, but sometimes it's more complicated I believe.
