Hello.
I’ve been on dating sites for a while and honestly until recently it’s been a disaster.
People talk for a while then stop, or say odd words and stop and reply months later.

I matched with a guy and I could’ve wrote his profile for him. He said hello on Wednesday and I said hey back. The day after I said how are you cause he hadn’t replied and still hasn’t...

I had a gander on Facebook and wondered if I should add him on there ? Or is it weird ? A lot of people I come across don’t use the app much or he may be busy. Or should I wait for him to reply on the app?

    I wouldn't. It's creepy and inappropriate to even ask if you haven't chatted for a while or really talked on the phone imo. Just sending a friend request so early comes across as desperate and/or clingy.

    I don't even FB friend women I've dated several times and care to be romantically involved with, just because it could create unnecessary drama if things don't work out. Especially because she could be friends with another woman I am dating or may date in the future.

    Also, I have too many friends, associates, colleagues, and family to risk the drama of a bad ending or just a straight up psycho spilling into my FB page.

    With that being said, I have FB friended women I've dated or met online I've made a connection with but with whom we have mutually agreed our values or goals don't align, yet we still want to remain friends. Other than that I wouldn't add someone I'm dating until it becomes exclusive and serious.
