for like dinner ? movies ? etc? sometimes i will pay, but i always drive to my bfs house, help clean and buy kitchen stuff plus food for me! and when i order a lot sometimes he makes me feel bad. my bf doesn’t have a job but he’s 27 and i’m 19... i just feel like he should always pay but he doesn’t always think that’s true
No, he shouldn't always pay. Doesn't make any sense. Give me one genuine reason he should always pay for. (this excludes the non-sensical argument "he's the man so he must pay" which is used by gold diggers).
No one person should always pay. Though it seems to me you're practically babysitting him. If he doesn't have a job, I don't think he's worth your time.
He's an underachieving loser, and he's eight years your senior. Why do you want to be with someone who says he would be out banging lots of different chicks if he had game? He's a drug addict, and a jerk. Why not dump him and try to find a nice guy your age who isn't a walking piece of shit who always makes you feel bad?
He shouldn't be trying to make you feel bad, because it sounds like you pay for more than your share.
I honestly don't know, because I'm not a professional, and I've never met him, but if I were a gambler my money would be on narcissist, and more specifically narcissistic abuser.

I don't know his reason for not having a job but if he doesn't have income, how is he paying for your stuff?
Both should pay. Making the man pay everytine is stupid, my boyfriend is kinda of that mindset as well and it's like hell no I wouldn't be remotly ok with you paying everytime he's starting to accept it
