Shopping makes me want to poo.....

I want to poo when the bills arrive.

SO, I have a theory...my sister in law and I both suffer from having to take major bathroom breaks when shopping. We are always very grateful, because we both, also, have problems...in that department...
My theory...
I think the body gets overwhelmed with all the merchandise and needs to somehow create space in the body to process all the information - So, we are delivering all the "input" to out system and our bodies react saying"OUTPUT! OUTPUT!"
This is the best I can come up with...I will have no urge to go and then, it becomes urgent!

Well, I think it's weird but I have the same problem and my sister does too. If I'm constipated, all I have to do is go shop at a Winners store and 9 times out of 10 I'll have to go within 10 minutes. It happens to me as well when I get really excited about cooking a new recipe. I guess i poo when I'm excited. thank goodness it never happens in bed!

Omg! This happens to me every time I go shopping! I thought it was just me. I ask my husband and he think its because I'm the most relaxed when I'm shopping, lol!

Yes yes yes this happens to me! It used to be certain stores like big lots target Marshall's now I realize that it's usually anywhere I get a good deal ! It's craazy! But it's a natural laxative and adds humor to my shopping trips I guess, which I usually do alone.

Going in Home Depot and Lowes always makes me hungry.!! :s

Perhaps the tingly sensation you get from the excitement when seeing a certain item that interests you creates a bowel movement that makes you wanna shit.

This has happened to me several times, but not every time. The weird thing is that two times it happened while shopping at a specific Target. Never knew it happened to other people! I vote normal.

Everytime I go shopping and I try something on, I have to pee! It makes me so mad!! Haha

Every time I would go to the thrift store, I would have to go. I quit going there fora long time until I finally went again and found out the bathrooms were open to the public. I also would shop at SavALot and every time I went, Id have to go and the restrooms were not open to the public. Many times Id have to leave my cart and go home to go then come back. A couple of times I had an accident so bad in two stores, when I got into the restroom I had to remove my panties and throw them away. When I try to take my dog for a walk sometimes I wouldnt make it back home. Now I take diarrhea meds if I know Im going to be leaving the house and also a water pill because thats what diarrhea is, too much fluid in the intestines. These precautions seem to help most of the time but not all of the time.

This happens to me too! Whenever I have a big selection to choose from when shopping. It started the first time I went to Walmart I believe. Then it would happen in big lots. The other day in home goods, now this morning in Walgreens. It's crazy. I want to know if there is a real medical name for it. Not buttgasim, but that sums it up. Funny thing is I have friends that always have to poop when they come to my house. Guess they're happy to see me.

exercise can help to loosen your bowels. If you have been walking around stores a bit when this happens i would say yes it's normal.

I'm glad to know its "normal" or at least I'm not alone. For me Big Lots within 5 minutes of walking in the store and the more I think about it anytime I have a a shopping cart full or my arms are full. I am a bargain shopper so maybe its from adrenaline?

Maybe, certain smells are triggering your need to have a bowel movement. Do you encounter cigarette smoke? Or do you smoke in the mall? Do you drink coffee or herbal tea blends while shopping? Etc.

Shopping makes me want to vomit.

I kinda need a dump right now actually.

I've never experienced this. My sister and I usually go out together, and she doesn't have this problem, either. Sure, we take toilet breaks, but neither of us experiences a cause-and-effect thing with stuff we want to buy.
