Shoes in the house.
I can NOT stand people wearing shoes on carpet! It bugs me and makes me feel dirty. Any one else feel that way?

It's perfectly normal. In fact in Asia, it'd be rude and culturally unacceptable to walk into a house with your shoes on. We're always barefooted at home. :)
I never thought about it until I became friends with a girl from Bangladesh. I spent a lot of time at her house in middle school and high school. It's part of their customs to take shoes off upon entering the house. I got so used to it because I spent so much time there, and now I do it out of habit at every house I visit. I also prefer when people don't wear shoes inside my home.
Some people have really raunchy feet, if the shoes aren't muddy, I'd prefer a little dirt over athletes foot on my floor. And I own a vacuum.
Can't see anything wrong with it as long as the shoes aren't muddy. Sure there might be a few germs brought in but your house is full of germs anyway. Expose yourself to germs. They're pretty good for you in enhancing your immune system!
