What is this nonsense?

I've never been self conscious about shitting in college or school.If anything I think it's a little imature to act so repulsed by the notion, we all do it, what's the big deal?

Yes, it's normal. There's nothing wrong with you. Everybody poops and when you gonna go, you gonna go! Remember that.

No. I use to be the same way, then I realized it was stupid. Sure it's not pleasant, but I'm not going to plan my life around where I poop, and I won't let something like that derail my plans. Sometimes you gotta go. I really thought people gave that up after high school. Don't be mad at them, it's just another case of people stuck in their ways.

What's disgusting is holding it in.

I guess I'm lucky since I've never really had any kind of hangups like this. School, home, airports, resturants, malls, filthy gas stations, the woods, wherever, no problem.

I've always kind of looked down on people that get all germophobic and hung up about stuff like that. After all, the dirtiest part of the bathroom is either the sink or shower curtain.

How do they know that you've been having bowel movements in college? Do you go around telling them (I can see why they would say "gross" if that's what you did) or have they been watching you on the loo (Those damn sickos!)? I personally don't like to go to the bathroom in public loos, unless it is an emergency, which is extremely rare. Taking a shit as well as urinating is a normal bodily function. Everyone does it. Hence is why the college and most other establishments have toilets built in them. If you didn't take a shit at all, that would be Concerning. Silly people! They are more important things for them to be worrying about. A person with a healthy digestive system who cleans himself out is not.

I enjoy taking a poop at college (school) because I don't like the thought of holding onto my poop all day during school time.

Breathe, eat, drink, shit, piss, masturbate, and sleep. Just do it.

It's actually a common problem on college campuses with the freshman class. They aren't used to communal living and feel too embarrassed to poo, so they hold it in until their intestines are all kinds of messed up. However, some college dining halls make some of their most popular foods with the intention of giving them laxative properties, to essentially force students to go. Spoke to our dining hall staff about it a few times- we'd also talk about is in orientation... it was really bad with a women's college full of debutantes- they didn't want to acknowledge the natural process for anything.

I always avoid it til I get home if possible, but sometimes nature wins and I gotta go.

Wait... you shit at college? I got my masters degree without shitting at college. None of my friends ever shit in college. We used the shower for showering, obvi, but we turned the toilet into a garden fountain with goldfish. When I saw toilets without statuary and fauna, and with little brushes and plungers by their sides, I just assumed the toilet was in dorms for puking and for nasty foreigners who are from third world countries where they just poop anywhere. Come to think of it, I cannot remember ever shitting. I'm not certain that pooping is something real, civilized people even do, let alone in public.

My advice would be to get some friends that aren't in high school.

There are people who are like clockwork, and they feel superior to people whose bodies don't work that efficiently. They get up and first thing they do or right after breakfast, they know they are going to go. Well that's good for them, but it's not all that common. Other people need to go when their bodies get around to it. Restrooms don't have to be disgusting. The seat needs to be dry. These people that stand up over the seat and splash all over should be put in the stocks for 3 hours for each offence. And if you make a mess, clean it up for the next person! What's the big deal?

Ideally- we'd have a "Habit Time" that did not need to use facilities outside our home just for emotional relaxation alone.

Sanitation's a problem caused by folks often appearing to have less mental function than what should be flushed, even when it's just their being nasty by intent or sloth. It's not acceptable to make messes by intent. Even when someone's ill and unable to clean up after an accidental mess- it's still an ACCIDENT.

All that said- yeah- it's NORMAL to have need for toilets wherever we are.

People need to grow the fuck up and stop being so immature about things that are completely normal.

People need to find better things to worry about then where someone makes bowel movements..

Well it depends where you're taking a crap at. Are you doing your business in a restroom or in your dorm? You didn't say where you take shits at..

I prefer not to. I have pooped one time at school and that was in middle school; it was an emergency. I do not think it is disgusting to use it, I just hate the feeling of not being fresh after. I like to try and shower after.
