can anyone tell we what the fascination is counting sheep to fall asleep?
i slept in a field of the fuckers and i couldn't get any sleep. Is it normal?
It's probably because they're soft and fluffy. I bet people in the stone age actually used them as pillows.
1: I'm pretty sure this was just a sarcatic story that was posted buuut.... 2: the whole imaginary sheep counting thing is because when you focus on counting sheep you aren't focusing on thoughts that will keep you up, and counting the sheep usually doesn't keep you from sleeping because having the simple task of counting doesn't overwork your brain and allows it to relax to where your brain will switch over to sleeping.
Something about sheep just seems so relaxing. Maybe it's the fact that they look like giant pillows.
Yea counting sheep doesn't work anymore. It's meant to make you bored. People used to go to sleep when they get bored, but now they watch tv
There is nothing fascinating about counting sheep, which is why--I guess--it is considered an effective sleep aid. I.e., it is sleep-inducingly boring.
