I`m her best friend`s ex crush, her younger brother is my sister`s class mate, her mum and my mum knew each other.
she feels insecure about this.

If she's that insecure and immature as to worry about this, forget it. Or maybe she just doesn't want to date you and isn't honest to say so?
Sounds like she wasn't interested and made a not so elaborate act to turn you down. Move on. No point in pursuing someone who isn't interested.

Yeah, I wouldn't say too related more of oversaturated in contact. Or don't want to poison the grapevine. Saying you are related makes most people assume incest.

Some girls feel looevdating there friends old crush is no go for how the friend may feel. However it could also be just as likely she's not interested

You CAN still date, but if she thinks its a problem from the get go, I would advise against.
