So I met this girl, and I totally fell for her. It took me a lot of guts to finally ask her if she wants to go on a proper date and her reply was, " I'm not ready to date yet" . I'm crushed. Wot does not being ready to date really means? Does it means it's over?
Many people think of dating as having sex. Perhaps she does not wish the pressure or the experience. Perhaps if you tell her waht you want, such as, movie, sititng and talking, going to museumes, studying together she may fid it interesting. Tell her you are not interested in sex, if it is true.
Sorry to say but yeah its a nice way to say no. Or she really could not be ready to date. Like she enjoys being single right now, doesn't want the stress of dating, etc. Girls are like that. Be patient but not too persistent, give her space and when she's ready she'll come to you..hopefully.

She may either not like you that way, or really not be ready to date. Maybe you would be her first and she's scared to mess it up.
