She's gotta be young enough to be my daughter
I am 47 years old and seem to only have long-term relationships with women young enough to be my daughter. Not that I mind by any means because, let's face it, a middle aged man who has dated mostly women young enough to be his daughter does not seem to be the norm in society, although it is not looked down upon nearly the same way it was 20 years ago, and many men are envious of me for this. But, then again, it is usually the ladies who start the flirting - at least I think so.
Anyway, I have had several relationships with women who are "within my age range," and we get along great, i.e. no real fighting, enjoy each other's company and so on, but those relationships don't last for more than a year and usually less than six months before we grow tired of each other, whereas many of the relationships I've enjoyed with younger women have lasted well over 3 years, and most of them have been open, polygamous relationships. Probably 75%% of the longer-term relationships (2-5 yrs) I've had over the past 20 years have been with women/girls from 17 to 23.
What do you think? Is this normal, or am I just one lucky ol' dude?
