I agree with all of the above. Finding comfort and tenderness from your parents and father is natural, but spooning is beyond where the boundaries should lie. In addition, now that you're older, this should probably stop. I'm more worried that your father hasn't put an end to it - adults know the boundaries and the fact he still actively spoons you is worrying.

it reminds me of when i was little and i feel so safe.
we don't spoon but he cuddle while my grandma watches tv next to us.

also- i didn't sleep alone till i was 13.
now i hate sleeping alone and project my grandpa-snuggling habits to my boyfriend.
i get the same safe feeling and feel like i'm little again with him.

i think it's fine.
it's just you wanting to feel the same feelings you were raised with.

Maybe you could create some sort of groinal partition to stop any unwarranted rubbing or thrusting of parts.

Most of this is nice - the tenderness & feelings of trust and safety - but that you are posting says you are not entirely sure. You are growing up. I agree with above - time for boundaries esp. the spooning.

That's really cute, your affection for your father is endearing. I hope my daughter will not think it is awkward or weird to sleep in the same bed as me when she is older.

its all good until you or him feel something sexual. If that happens, its time to be in your bed, and not his. My kids cuddle with me all the time. Sit on me watching TV ect.... Yes and sometimes sleep with me, i see nothing sexual about them, and they are beautiful. Now thier friends is an issue, and they know it, and i know it. They are to touchy with me, and it makes me NUTS!
