Share (the nicest/a nice) thing you've done <3

Sure, you may very well be an absolutely all around shit person

but we've all done something nice at some point

so go ahead now...

share either

-the nicest thing you've ever done
-a nice thing you've done
-or something recent you did that was nice however small or large it may be.

--- One time I spent 700 euros on flowers while I was on a trip in Amsterdam and gave them out to strangers all day long, I also did the same thing but with oranges in Seattle Wa. ( I was completely unemployed during these times and really didn't have a ton of extra cash)

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Oh and also, my friend from here, charli-fuckin-m, who people call all kinds of nasty names, she's one of the kindest people in the universe. I'll post 4 her coz she won't do it herself.

    - travels all the way across the country to be with a sick child & his family, even though it breaks her heart & is super difficult & stressful
    - searches for and adopts an older broken rejected dog that nobody wants to adopt, then spends a bunch of $$ she doesn't even have trying to save him, even though it made her cry to the point of cry barfing sad tears
    - takes care of her elderly grandmother & deals with all of her crazy old people stuff so she can make her life better

Nicest person ever. Can't believe people think she's a bitch
    *shocked pickachu face*

It's perfectly ok to feel that way. She is blunt & a giant bitch whom I like; it's usually for a reason though. I never comment on her behalf, but it's hard to see it when people are really nasty about her...especially unprovoked comments that aren't made TO her. Anyways, I shouldn't've made a comment about her. I should stay out of it. Just hard to restrain my typing fingers when i see all the sweet things that she does, or if I know she's having a time & doesn't need to read it.

Anyways, people are entitled to dislike her. I doubt she cares. I just wish people wouldn't be mean.

        • Just so you know. I dont dislike her. I just think she can be a bit harsh and inappropriately defensive. But I can also understand why. When I was younger and a bit insecure i could be somewhat overly defensive as well.

Oh I get that, and like I said, I shouldn't comment about her. She is my friend though, and it's just that some of the stuff I've seen on here is just awful.

People stalking her, implying that she has mental problems, spreading rumors, making comments about how she looks. That shit hurts MY feelings second hand. She is beautiful looking & more importantly, she is a beautiful person.

I get it if people think she's abrasive. The abuse...I disapprove of that. I think it's mean & she doesn't deserve it.

Anyways, I'll stop commenting on her behalf. She would hate it hahaha.

I wasnt meaning to say anything bad about her, but I'm sure you know that.

Btw, we took "Countess Douche" to the vet today and they confirmed that she was a girl. You should have seen how red my wife's face turned when I told the vet lady that we wanted countess douche on her nametag. πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜

We live in different cities, so we don't hang out, but we are "real life" friends. She has my real phone number, we talk quite a bit off the site, she knows where I live & has my email blabla.

We originally got in touch because we were both applying for international marriage visas & moving to different countries. The visa process is really involved & requires a lot of research, so there are whole support communities around the application process. That's why we started talking, then became friends.

Hahaha I get why you would think that. It doesn't bother me that much.

We legit talk to each other while we IIN, so I'll message her all the time with someone talking to me on here & that's why she'll jump in sometimes.

We TRY to stay out of each other's bullshit, but it's hard when you're friends with someone.

I always think our personalities are pretty different, but maybe we sound the same...you...you cunt!!!!

Anyways, we aren't the same person, but all I can do is tell you that. There's so many "alt accounts" on here that it makes people suspicious

Well, let's not jump to conclusions. They might know each other irl. And charli.m had gold member status at one time if I remember rightly. There's nothing stopping anyone from swapping pictures over PM - though for my part, I admit there's probably only one user on this site whom I'd trust with any personally identifiable information of my own. Maybe other people are less risk-averse.

Taking in an injured kitten and buying my dad a boat.

My cat's story begins with her crying in an alley, abandoned and injured as a kitten. Someone had probably beaten her. I went to investigate the meowing, found this little kitten and I took her in, got her to the vet for treatment and cared for her. Now she's 5 years old, lazy purry black and white domestic shorthair that loves sleeping on my head, snuggling up between my and my girlfriend and napping in front of the tv.

I also bought my dad a 6 meter, 100hp fishing boat and an old 1998 Nissan Navara pickup to tow it to the lake for his 60th birthday. He didn't expect a present, nor me coming home for his birthday. But I was sneaky and set up everything as a surprise. Landed back home, drove the pickup to hitch up the boat and drove to my parents house in the mountains.
Bought my mom a fancy gold watch for her 60th birthday and she cried too, but my mum always cries on birthdays.

But my dad... He teared up from joy when he saw me and his gift. He loves fishing and the outdoors a lot and it's one of 2 times I've seen him get teary eyed. One was when grandpa/ his dad died, the other was me buying him the boat. We went fishing on the same day, as he was very eager to take me fishing in the new boat.

After everything my mum and dad had done, buying them a nicer gift for their 60th birthdays felt nice. I could never repay them for what they've done and all the lessons my dad has taught me and advice he has given me.

When I got my dad this present, it was the first time I felt like I had done something truly meaningful.

All the failures and hardships after graduation made me feel like shit. There was a time when I only had 20 Euros in my pocket and stuff to pay that was over 1000 Euro. Only when I started my own business and became a Peugeot salesman and later manager, did I feel I was doing something with my life. Business was expanding, money was coming in, buying my dad a little something was the least I could do.

Meanest: well, I can be a sonofabitch when I want. I once had a very cute girlfriend break up with me the day before she was with a close friend of mine (high school) and I told everyone that i had broken up with her because she had herpes. The poor girl didn't get another date between the ninth and 12th grade because "he just wouldnt lie". πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‹πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Anyway, we ripped up the bread & pelted him with it until he got swarmed and swooped at by about 1000 birds & ran away swearing.

            - started asking questions to a guy that was dragging a passed TF out girl at a bar to his car- so he skedaddled & I called her friends on her cellphone & waited for her to get picked up
            - found a dollar on the ground when I was too broke to buy food & just left it next to a sleepy homeless guy
            - me & my brother turned our car around in city traffic to offer a ride to the train station to a skinny lady with a giant suitcase. She said "I don't take no rides from no beanpole white people"
            - bought a bunch of dog food & treats for a homeless guy with a dog

    Some of these are lovely!

I'm a substitute middle school English teacher. Today I punished a girl in class for chatting when I urgently needed everyone to listen. This girl had constantly pushed the limits before then and I had warned her repeatedly about her conduct. Today we had class in the computer room and there was WAY too much that could go wrong for me to tolerate her usual act.

Well, the rest of that lesson she worked really hard, asked me lots of vocab questions and produced a great piece of writing. She genuinely seemed to like being let loose with a computer and allowed to write what she wanted. I was really impressed with what she managed to produce. I couldn't bear to punish her. So at the end of class I told her that although she had not behaved as she should have done, she had worked so well and I was so pleased with the quality of her work that I would take away the punishment. She was absolutely delighted. I could see it in her eyes, and the way she said 'yay!!!' and waved her hands a little in excitement. She then told me proudly that she was going to sit an international English exam (I totally hadn't known - I'm only a sub teacher and haven't been there long). I was delighted too. Absolutely thrilled for her.

It wasn't really an act of kindness, as it was the student who turned herself around. But that's one aspect of my job that I really love.

When I was a teenager, the house my family lived in at the time had a huge wooded area in the backyard that was inhabited by feral chickens. There was a group of baby chicks who got abandoned by their moms. I didn't want to see them die, so my family and I raised the babies. Despite the fact that they grew up with us, they seemed to get along with the wild chickens in the woods. One of the wild ones even joined their flock. XD

Once I found a wallet on the ground. There was only about $12 in it, but there was also a drivers license, credit cards, etc. I tried to look up her phone number, but the number I found had no answer. This was a Saturday. I found a health insurance card and Monday morning called the employer listed on the card. Turns out it was her husband who worked there. I spoke to him, he got me in touch with his wife, and I returned the wallet. She seemed most concerned about the drivers license.
