Shaky hands & tremors

I am 31 yrs old & a Tabla player by profession, suffering from shaky hands [essential tremors]for the past 10 yrs, which hampers my playing the tabla especially the intricacies, more so at a faster pase.
I am an otherwise healthy person with normal blood pressure & blood sugar & no case of thyroid.my case has often been treated as anxiety-realted but with no satisfactory results. My symptoms include shaky hands, tremors, anxiety, lethargy, nervousness, irritability, abdominal pain, muscle pain and weakness. The weakness in the short muscles of my hands make it difficult for me to write, esply. in front of others, though my grip is fine.
plz advise.

I've had this happen to me at some point and it repeated for a while, but for me it was becuause I jsut needed to relax. The symptoms you've stated seem to be more related to a reaction of you thinking. (ie. feeling anxious, lathargic, irritable). Which are all more thinking related than physical issues. Is something bothering you, affecting your happiness? try to fix personal problems and move toward building a more happier you. Are you nervous when performing/playing table in front of others? do people make you nervous? try to relax and don't worry too much.

ps. don't forget to breath. deeps breathing helps relax your body. all the best

Make sure your eating properly and regularly. I think maybe you are a bit nervours and think too much. Try to relax and enjoy doing what you do. Have a healthy diet and include physical activity (ie. sports or going to the gym) in to ur everyday lifestyle. Try it and I think you should be fine.

I agree with the last two people that commented. My wife recently was diagnosed with Fibromialga "i hope i spelled it right, probably not.".She was also tested for lupus which has a lot of the same symptoms that you have.See a doctor ,and i hope it turns out to be a pinched nerve or something else minor.Lots of luck. :)

have you had bloodwork done? have you ever had an eeg or a mri?

do you have any history of migraines in your family?

get bloodwork done to check for low iron/blood-sugar. if that fails, go to a neurologist. i get those symptoms (generally from migraines)

Its either one of two things, parkinsons or carpel tunnel. My guess would be on the carpel tunnel. Look these terms up online and go see a medical doctor soon. hope this helps and hope you feel better. take care.
