She has been working for four months now, and we have developed a strong friendship in this short time. We will banter and 'flirt' with each other, even though we are both straight.
She is great, we make each other smile and laugh, and get along really well.
I recently caught myself daydreaming about her in a sexual way even though I don't see her in that way. Is this normal?

    Brains trick us into thinking all sorts of mischief. I have random thoughts about nonsense, all the time. This could be all it was. I once had a dream about sex with someone I really hated. I definitely would not have actually gone there!

    I have heard of gay people having pleasant dreams about straight sex and so I suppose it can happen both ways.

    I wouldn't mention it to your friend though, you could either end up with an awkward friendship.

    Yes it's normal. If it's just happens once or twice or even three times don't worry about it, just enjoy yourself privately and don't mention anything. If it continues happening constantly and you can't stop thinking about her that way then you should ask her out to dinner, get her drunk and then tell her. If she gets freaked out pour her another drink and the next day act as if nothing happened and continue with your friendship as normal.

    yeah its normal more than the sittuation am in trust me. Its just that you have gotten closer to her than you may have wanted.
