Sexual bleeding

So, during sexual activities I sometimes like to cut myself. Usually I slice my tongue to taste the blood and feel the rush. My fiancee says it freaks her out, but feeling the cuts really pumps me up and makes the intensity of the act multiply ten-fold. Is this weird?
