Sensative nails after i cut them?

After i cut my fingernails the tips feel awful! i can't rub them on anything without getting shivers because it's so sensitive. I don't have them cut short but for a few days afterward i am conscious of the weird feeling

    This only happens to me when I cut them too short so maybe thats just what your doing, cutting them too short.

    This happens to me too!! If I cut my nails I always have to file them then rub lotion or hand cream or vaseline on my hands.
