Self talking

dear friends I think 24/7 while eating writing listening dating one part of my brain is always self talking or thinking or remembering something totally useless. U will ask what I think ....anything related to past present or future, it may be a commercial, or maybe a parody of someone, or some new ideas for something (which of no use of anyone).Sometime I put myself in movie and rearrange the scenes as per my desire and waste whole day thinking of it.

Is it normal?Do I'm suppose to visit some psychiatric? any suggestions??? I try to meditate to let my brain free of thought for sometime but no use, for 30 days practice I'm only able to free my mind more than few seconds. what do i do to get rid of these useless thoughts....

    Whatever you do, do *not* describe your thoughts as "intrusive" to *anybody*. You got me? "Intrusive thoughts" is psychiatrist for "schizophrenic". If you aren't schizophrenic, do *not* use the word "intrusive" to describe any part of your thought process to anyone. (I learned that one the hard way)

    Second, there are meds you can take to calm your neuroreceptor system. Not exactly psych meds, but on the same platform. Doctors prescribe the medicine I'm thinking of to people who are trying to quit smoking in order to slow down the neuroreceptors related to nicotine addiction, but it's pretty much a global effect. Maybe that might help you.

    it sounds a little ADHD. but at the same time it sounds very creative, just write these thoughts down and write a book, maybe get rich off of your roaming brain.

    probably not normal, but i do that too sometimes. comes in periods and other times i don't do it so bad. idk

      Thanks dear but it is a curse of having random thought all the time unless u r hired as some sort of creative director in some advertisement company,

      If your brain is empty most of the time it means u can easily focus your brain toward anything ,try "meditation" u may achieve what other claims "a path to reality".
