Can you guys smell it too?

I've always noticed i've had the ability to be able to take a deep breath, (Usually after a rainstorm) recognize a scent, and deem it as water. It's unusual though because the water I smell after a storm smells sort of "Sparkling" (Best word I can come up with to describe it XD) but if I get a water bottle of Poland Springs and smell it, it smells "Clear" (Meaning it has a scent but "Clear" comes to mind). The thing is, I don't know how I know it's water but I know it is.

      I do too though I just refer to it as water. Not sky juice xD.

      Hm...I wonder if it's a unique talent I have..(Not drinking a glass of water lol)

    I'm the same way. My house is up on a little hill and then straight down off my back deck is a beach and I can always tell when it's warm out in the winter time because I can smell the salt water, and it smells so good. It's such a comforting smell. I love the smell of the Earth after it rains too, everything smells like it's been bathed.

    Of course not. I'm not rude. I'm not laughing at people for being different. Everyone is different. I love finding the weird things that I do as well. That's why I favorited your question, I think it too. Now I'm keeping it favorited because you are getting so worked up. Life is serious, but at least this site gives us a welcome break...

    I like the way it smells when it rains. I especially like the way it smells when it snows or is about to snow. I don't give it adjectives like "sparkling" or "clear"... but I do understand what you mean.
    Like Crossed said, some people have better senses than others :)

    me too> and i think tap water smells gross and after someone takes a shower the smell of water lingers on and on...

      All I can smell after a shower is steam which is pretty much odorless. At least to me it is xD.

    I dont think its weird. sometimes i love turning the cold tap on full blast and smelling the spray it creates. Is so refreshing. It makes me imagine im near a waterfall or something like that. Go try it now! I also had a mate when i was 12 that swore blind he was allergic to drinking water.

      I think it is creepy how you came to such an assumption (I know that it was an assumption because I had failed to answer a comment prior to yours. You would have had to have read each and every SINGLE comment and missed ONE (that in which you did) in order to say something so foolish), unless you had such a problem yourself because I only come here when I receive an E-mail notification about a new comment. As a matter of fact, if you had not posted a comment, I would have never even remembered I had asked a question here =L.

      It is a fairly simple process: I ask a question. I expect an answer. I receive an answer. I reply to it.

      The same way I am 'answering' to you, I answer to anyone else. The same way I know it was you, who thumbed up your own comment. See what I just did there?
