ok, so ever since i can remember, ive covered my ears after i flush the toilet. Idk how people can stand that giant noise! I can stand SOME toilets... Like if they're really old and quiet... But not the new ones. I always turn around, push the left side of my head to my sholder, flush, then cover the other side of my head w/ my other hand. I do this until the water stopes circling the bowl and it just makes that watery running sound. So is this normal? (because even if it isnt: i dont care- that sound still scares the shit out of me...)

    Wow, my sister is exactly like that. I don't think it's terribly odd, but you should really work on getting used to it. You have to live with toilets your whole life, and it's not too polite to leave excrement in the toilet. :p

    If you're really terrified, maybe make an appointment with a therapist? They might be able to help.

    Holy shit! I'm the exact same! Sometimes when I use the toilet at NGHT I don't flushit it telll the next morning lol! Disgusting, I k ow but I'm scared lol!

    There are some crazy toilets that are loud as fuck. I'm always afraid they are going to suck me down with the water O_o

    i dont cover my ears but it scares the shitt out of me wen theyre so fast and loud i seriously wud rather leave my piss in the toilet but i no thts unsanitary so i just deal

    How many db is a toilet - it can't be very loud?! But if you don't like the sound then covering your ears is no big deal. The main handicap would be not being able to cover your nose at he same time.
