Scared of what may be lurking in the sewers..

Er.. Not really sure how to word this, but, I am scared that the Human Centipede is lurking in the sewers..

I know it's made up, but after reading about the film and watching a trailer, I've been creeped out about going for a 'number 2', I stuff the loo with tissue.. and even tried convincing myself it was in a far away country.

My mum is getting annoyed at me for using so much tissue.. and I'm too embarrassed to tell her. Is there anything I can do to get over this? I know it's stupid, please don't be mean. IIN?

I understand what you mean, I watched the Ring in grade six and when the girl crawled out of the tv and killed everyone, I literally almost pissed myself. Since then, before I go to sleep.. I put something to cover my tv in my room. I can't explain why, It just gives me huge anxiety attacks to think that someone is going to crawl out of my tv and kill me. It's psychotic, because OBVIOUSLY nothing can come out of a tv, but yet I still cover it every night. and you still stuff the toilet, even though you know nothing can come out of it. It's normal to have anxiety, but you should talk to a professional about it, I have and trust me it helps.

    • I do the exact thing with my TV! But my reason was because of that lady on the TV screen in Doctor Who, the one that took your face off and put it into another TV. It doesn't really bother me as much, I guess if it was the Ring I'd watched I would have been much more afraid. Yes, I understand it's psychotic, and I suffer with general anxiety anyway, so I'll seek help soon. I'm seeing a therapist soon anyway, I'll ask her to help me about it.

Thanks so much for the great and helpful answer! :)
