okayy well ever since I was little everytime I would go to the toilet after doing what I had to do I would always block my ears so I wouldn't hear the toilet flushing I still do this today. That noise just scares the shit out of me :( soo is this normal ??
quit jacking off on the toilet and your fear of neing caught should subside.
There are quite a few toilet phobias mentioned on this site. I had one as a child and couldn't bear to watch a toilet flush. I grew out of it by age 7, but I think having a toilet phobia is common, and still having it as an adult is more common than you might have thought.
When it's the morning or late at night I hate the sound of toilets flushing, but only cause it's loud. You're weird :P but that's not that bad
My lil 4 year old does it but I think once you hit a certain age you just need to let go of phobias that you know aren't going to hurt you. Like, it sounds scary but has a toilet ever done anything to you? Probably not. Maybe try not to cover your ears next time and see what happens.
Every now and then that happens to me too. But it's really just cause Im afraid a murderer is downstairs and I don't want him to hear me :)
It is fine, just realive that all that is happening is that fresh water from the tank is flowing into the toilet bowl. Ho ahead and lift the toilet tank lid, the water in there is perfectly clean, like from your faucet, but may be a little crappy looking depending on your water supplies iron content and such.
It is just a simple phobia, to overcome it, you must learn about the thing that frightens you then realize it can do nothing to you. Hell, the toilet was litterally MADE for you, what is so frightening about that?
Haha! I hate toilets in public restrooms that flus so intensely, I feel like they're going to splash water on me. The really loud ones can be a little frightening. I think it's normal and kind of cute too!
