Scared of the hymen!

I wasn't sure exactly how to well.. 'insert' a tampon so i went and looked it up online. I am more than freaked out that you have to break the hymen. Is it normal to be so scared? Can anyone HONESTLY tell me, does it hurt or not? And I was told it takes 5 MINUTES to insert, is this true?

    You probably don't have a hymen anyway. Most people don't (Even virgins).
