Scared of 'screeching' baby cries.
I just HAVE to run. I might be scared I will shake the baby or hurt it. Is it a normal phobia?

i kinda understand but not about the abuse part. when they "screech", it really hurts my ears and it feels like my brain is going to explode.
i dont think you have a phobia, i think you are just scared about what you will do to the baby if you had your hands on it. i commend you that you turn around and walk in the other direction.
Baby hating hurts my heart. If I had omnipresence id travel back in time to when you were a screeching baby to shake and throw you... into a pile of loving marshmallows.
The abuse part, no. The fear part, yes. Humans are designed to find the screech, scream and cry, of a baby disturbing and unsettling. This is supposed to make you try to comfort it. It forces us to be maternal.
This stopped after the baby went to the house, I was a helper to a mother and this only occured in the hospital.
I don't run away from it, but I do think it can get irritating after a while. But I don't understand why you would be scared as to hurting the baby. Have you hurt a baby before? This phobia of yours must have stemmed from something.
I don't run but like aussiewolf it hurts my ears. Especially if they are behind me in a restaurant. I'm glad you leave instead of hurting them.
Im a girl and i loathe babies and the sounds they make. When one cries i want to run or eat a gun. Im never, ever having one and extremely pro-choice. The world is way too full of the little shits in the first place and society caters to them. Also disgusting.
