Scared of getting old

Is it normal to fear getting older. I don't mean just a little, but a lot! I'm terrified of getting old, crippled, and ugly. Simply terified... 100%! Been this way since I was like 6 years old.

    Yea, I like being young because I want to be able to run, and move, and be as alive as I can be. But, there is hope. My 65 year old math teacher still runs around the track, so I should if I am careful. But I am scared of getting all wrinkly. I can't stand people to even touch my face as it is right now.

      Wow, that's awesome he can still run like that! :) I hope I can be like that too... though I agree with you about the wrinkles. I'm starting to get fine lines around my eyes, and I hate it! I don't want wrinkly skin!!

    I'm also afraid of getting old, I like being young; I believe it's a matter living one day a the time and try not to think about it

      That's true. I just hope when I'm old, I can be one of those fit & healthy seniors with most of my mind in tact!
