Sacrificing my sleep for 8 hours of listening to music?

Not really sure which category i should post this on: music&entertainment, health or sleep..?lol so I just posted it on here.

Anyway, I don’t really listen to music whenever I go to bed but someone told me it helps you fall asleep faster. So I gave it a try. But it had an opposite effect on me. Even with slow melodic songs, it didn’t work, in fact, it kept me awake. After an hour, I decided to listen to pop and r&b that i really like,instead, for 20-30 minutes but then I just couldn’t stop myself and I listened to music until 7am😅
