S it normal to want to end a long realtionship only to start a new one

So ive been with my guy for a little over a year now and im feeling like i need something new. ive had urges to just break up, call it quits and find a new guy. Its not that i dont love him or something like that.

apart of me just misses the whole getting to know you part of the relationship weere its new and scary and just really exciting.

So is it normal to want to end a long realtionship only to start a new one?

Sometimes, it's time for a change. Something new, something exciting and refreshing. It is definitely normal to get bored with a relationship.... If your unhappy and searching for something more then your not in the right relationship. You should feel fulfilled, in love, content, and not bored/searching for something more. My advice to you is to end the relationship and find a new one that burns with a hot passionate flame!

    Best of luck to you,
    Sincerely, John C K

I would be devastated if my gf went I want to be with him although I would kill him but that turns girls on somtimes according to some girls

Not sure however it's normal or not. But that doesn't change the fact that you're being a complete bitch if you break up a long-term relationship, why did you let it go so far if you were only there for the fling?

Sure if it would've been a short/I just met the guy thing. But a long relationship and the only reason is that you wan't something new...

You should leave him for his own good. He deserves something better...

That feeling is completely normal. But once you get past that part your relationship is at a whole new level so if your really love him then you should stay with Him.

I'd say it's normal. I'm in the same situation right now, actually. I've been with my first (real) girlfriend for nearly five years now - 1st year of high school till 2nd year of college. What we have is truly one-of-a-kind though and I just don't know what to do. :( I kinda think one year is too soon; give it some time. If you still feel the same way then see if it can be agreed upon and let it end. Just don't make it a habit!

If you're tired of being with him, then move on. But in making that decision, it's so important to take into account the relationship you have- you've been together a year, you must know a lot about each other...it does take awhile to build a strong, trusting relationship with someone you love and feel comfortable around.

The "new car smell" has worn off, so to speak. And you miss the excitement of a new relationship. I've been there before.
