S it normal to not care about the appearance of my boyfriend?

I think every boy has something which is beautifull, no matter how ugly other people call them. Every boy. I have a boyfriend now. The reaction of a friend was: "why would you date him? He's chubby and hasn't got the best looks, his clothes aren't that perfect as well." I really don't care, maybe he is chubby so what? The inside counts for me the most, maybe his looks aren't perfect for everybody. I only notice those positive (little) things, not only in my boyfriend but in all the people. Is it normal?

    Tell your friend(s), looks, however good they seem, would change as time goes by... we will all become shrivelled prunes later!

    Not normal, but should be. Seriously, more people should strive to be like you. Maybe then the world would be a better place.

    i love your attitude. if anyone tries to look for outward appearance they might miss the person meant to be.if your friends discourage you its coz they have no courage

    I love a guy who is short, fat, and balding.

    To me, he is totally and utterly gorgeous - and noboby I have ever met is fit to tie his shoelaces!!!

    I had a b/f who was fat. Very much so, but it didn't bother me at all, as we were happy. My mum kept saying about how fat he was, and how it looked nasty and so many people told me I could do so much better than him and I should get a thin guy. It's the person who counts, not what package they come in. People put too much emphasis on what someone looks like, forgetting when you get old all that fades anyway and having someone who loves, respects you and you can get on with matters most
