Running into your ex and remembering the moments iin?

Okay so, you both are walking towards each other. Each step you take is one step into your past, the memories you guys had replays in your head, the butterflies in your stomach becomes active. You try your best to look your best and act like you’re doing so good without him/her. Your heart start skipping a beat, your breathing becomes uneven, you want to turn in the other direction and get away from all these emotions. But it’s too late, he/she already sees you.. You try to avoid eye contact by pretending to text, you giggle a little while staring at your phone. When that moment finally comes, you guys are shoulder to shoulder next to one another, not either of you says a thing. As he/she passes you by, you smell their once familiar scent. When this is all over with, you realize it was the biggest mistake to let them walk out of your life. You turn back hoping for them to do the same, but only to find out they’re already gone...Have you had your feelings pop up to the surface again ,and you try to surpress it as possible???Because it's for the best? Not to bring up the past and remain as friends for the good?? as anyone been like this??...

Spent an hour staring at my ex gf picture. Couldn't remember jack shit. And to tell the truth, I do not give a damn shit either. I mean, it worries me that my memory is going to the dogs, but I kind of did not care about not remembering facts and stuff. If I saw her onto the streets I would not even recognize her. Not just because I forget everything within a couple of minutes, also because she probably became unrecognizable, fat as a whale, with an even uglier face than I remember, a butt so big she could just use it to bounce from one place to another, or she could just roll from place to place like a big ball of fat. Screw my memories. I wish I could erase them all and get new ones. (showing middle finger to ugly fat cunt passing by) what are you looking at? Lardball? Yeah! Roll away! Rolling fatball!

I'm bothered, shut up with the intellectual specifics and crap.

Well whenever I think about my ex the feelings do come back. But I try to focus on why we broke up and what went wrong.

Break ups happen for a reason and it's best to just move on and not dwindle on the past. If I do see my ex again I would be polite and courteous. Act as you would if you saw a stranger or a distant colleague you aren't too close to.

I agree with you. It's easy to remember the good times when you see the person, but you have to consider why you broke up in the first place.

Remember the good, but don't discount or forget the bad. You don't want to live in a fantasy world.

Totally normal. However, I would not regret things that is in the past. Well, me. Personally speaking. For me, people who are in the past but not in the present are where they are for some reasons.

Yes, it is normal to remember things.
...If anyones ex walked passed them, I am sure they would also remember the things they did together, and maybe miss it a little.
