A lot of people are rude/arrogant jerks & dont know it. Or they dont care. I choose not to be around those people. Trust me, confronting him wont make a difference if thats just the way he is.

Just say things to him in response like, "you really are a miserable person", and "oh no, MR Negative speaks again" just make it clear in your communication that his contributions are negative. See what happens. You do not have to resort to viloence, one should always have humility. You can be forthwright though if you feel he has insulted you, such as " i do not like to be insulted, do not talk to me like that" and if he says "or what" say "lets take it outside after hours on public ground", then you can beat him, make sure you dont grapple as that is embarrassing, just punches, darting in and out. This will cure the problem, as no one or very few want to get into constant fist fights.

^^uhhh...sorry i just realized i posted this on the wrong story because it had a similar situation lol. so anyways like i said this guy probably has no clue that hes being offensive and thats just the way he is. try to ignore him or throw some witty comebacks at him and see what he does. usually these ppl are insecure and are just angry for whatever reason. tell him to go find his happy place and he'll probably get all pissy and storm off. i also wouldnt be surprised if he has frequent temper tantrums if he doesn't get his way. anywhooo hope things work out and he changes his tude before someone gets his ass fired. :)

he was probably always that way and will always be that way. in that case he probably has no idea that his behaviour offends others. even if you say something it's not going to make a difference if this is the way hes been his whole life. try to ignore his comments as best as you can or throw some comments back at him to see what he does. he doesn't have any right to talk to you or anyone like that though and it;s sad that after all those complaints he hasn't been terminated. one day he'll get his because somebody will not tolerate his shitty attitude and he'll run away with his tail between his legs. ppl like that piss me off. i'm getting all fiesty now and wanna yell at this guy. tell him to get off his high horse and come back to the real world where he isn't superior to anybody else. i hope he gets canned or that things change around there. anyways good luck lol!

I actually quit a job b/c this man was so rude. He was also rude to the pts. There where stacks of complaints about him but his wife was friends with the owner. After I left I was so much happier.
