Ritalin vs cocaine

I have been given ritalin for the past two years by my dr an have recently started doing coke and stopped taking the ritalin. Has anyone else done this? Is ritalin really a gateway drug? I get the same feeling just more instantly with the coke.

You are not a coke addict because you took Ritalin. You are a coke addict because you chose to use coke.
I hope you see the problem here and do something before it rips your life apart.

And oh yeah, I assume you're prescribed ritalin for add/adhd or something along those lines, meaning you have a condition where you lack dopamine in certain regions of the brain and therefore crave anything that boosts dopamine levels. Coke is a potent but short-acting dopamine re-uptake inhibitor (correct me if I'm wrong), 'kind of' like ritalin (methylphenidate). You're basically self-medicating, very common among people with this condition.

Talk to your dr about possibly increasing your ritalin dose and/or combining it with some therapy and for god's sake lay off the coke.

Ritalin is designed to turned people into robots by the new world order. I'd say coke is better than that

While you can argue how Ritalin is similar and has similar effects to coke.

Ritalin: side effects: decrease appetite, weight loss or inability to gain wait, and increased focus

Coke: decrease appetite, Weight loss or inability to gain, and increased focus. So yes its comparable.

I don't think you can blame Ritalin for you being a coke addict or you CHOOSING to take coke. It was your decision and you could have said no. If you like getting high than you like getting high. You getting high was your choice though not the prescriptions.

You get the same feeling from ritalin? Seriously? I've been on ritalin for years and never ever ever have I felt anything remotely similar to a coke high. They're both stimulants and share some properties but to me ritalin isn't really that euphoric. Not saying you're lying, just pissed that I'm missing out :P
