I hate how the chickens always get loose and destroy all the cereal boxes on the cereal aisle.
Crumpled-up bills, shut-ton of change, people who forget their money at home after having already loaded up the checkstand, taking WIC checks to the express lane, taking more than 15 items to the express lane, bringing a fuckload of non-WIC items with your WIC checks, waiting until I tell you the total to begin searching through your massive purse for payment, not asking how much cash back you can receive and just inputting a large amount, telling me to stop at $50 when you have $300+ worth of groceries--creating a whole cart of go-backs, proselytizing at me at the checkstand, buying $300 worth of soda; chips; cookies; candy; and pastries with your EBT money, having an EBT card when you're sporting $250 Jordan's and $300 Beats headphones, asking if you can use you EBT to purchase gasoline, bringing a shot-ton of coupons which are expired or for the wrong products and pretending like you didn't know, and getting mad at me when I card you.
I didn't like my co-workers. Any retail environment I worked in involved my having to work with adults who were 30+ who acted like they were still in high school.
Aside from that, the irregular and sometimes non-existent hours made working retail far less than ideal.
It's the idiotic questions that always got me. My god how can people be so dumb.
Well it depends what you mean by "Retail" some people consider being a cashier at a desk is "Retail" and some people believe selling door to door is "Retail". I had to do door to door and he would call at all hours of the day. I was on call 24/7.
If they randomly decided to call me at 3 in the morning I had to drop everything I was doing and drive to work. It sucked since I couldn't even go food shopping since I would get suddenly called into work.
I was in fact shopping for food one day and my phone didn't get the signal where I was so I didn't realize they called. So a few minutes later I got a message saying get down in 5 minutes or I was fired. I was trying to buy food for the house but I guess that takes up too much time where I could have been working.
They also said they wanted our Facebook and I always have the stupidest Facebook page. So I had to make another email and another Facebook just for work. Which was annoying.
I work in a video store (yes, they still exist here but they are dying off) I suppose what annoys me is people who pull up out the front of the store and instead of parking (there's always enough parking nowadays) they leave their car running while they come in the store and look around for 10 minutes. Besides their exhaust fumes being bad for the environment its inconsiderate for others who are pulling up to return DVDs/blu rays. I just can't get over the laziness of that. Also, impatient customers annoy me a bit.
More than one of those lol but the worst for me is the hours stuff. Ill get 40 one week, and like 20 the next :/
I'm sorry that you feel that way. I read your profile and it sort of made me sad. I'm sure that you're not ugly, somebody out there must find you attractive. Feeling lonely is pretty common but you shouldn't feel insecure for having small boobs, bodies come in all shapes and sizes. And I've been around here long enough to see plenty of post about guys who really like your body-type. I'm sorry if I come off as a creep, I just know where you're coming from is all and I'd like to help your self esteem.
