Repetitive real-feeling nightmares

Hi, i am 19 year old male

I have been having terrifying dreams lately. It uselly goes like this:im lying in my bed and i cant move and almost cant breathe i try to scream, but i cant. I hear something slowly walking upstairs. And opening my door, when i look at him i see the most scary face i have ever seen.

It comes close to me and the pain i feel then is undescribable it feels so terribly real the next thing i know is i fall trough my bed and im in some kind of weird looking street and everyone is smiling at me.
Not just smiling but so creepy looking like.clowns do.

Then i wake up all sweaty and to scared to go downstairs.

I have this dream for about everty 3 days and it just doesnt stop! I am afraid to sleep.

I need help.

Sorry for my crappy english its not my main language.

    I had this!

To solve it, I made myself defeat the object and save myself/everybody, and I was having that dream basically EVERY night! And it hasn't haunted me since!

When I was younger I would get the same things. Maybe not as scary but when i would fall asleep i would wake up still in the dream. I would freak out because one dream I had alot was I would be in this house and I would follow this dark red light and my mom would be on this table and this guy would take her eyes out and I would flip out because im really close to my mom and seeing her in pain and helpless just freaked me out. It sounds kinda dumb but when your in the dream it feels so real and scary. I would get them alot but after a few years it started going away and then it just stopped. So hopefully it stops after awhile. I know this might not help you but just know that alot of people have concious nightmares and their scary as hell. So just stay strong and maybe next time you go into one of these dream just thing this is a dream and it isnt real. Hope it goes away soon!!!

I've heard that in dreams, all the characters within the dream are representations of yourself. Try thinking about different aspects of yourself and see if anything comes to mind about why you could possibly be seeing something so frightening in your dreams and how that plays a part in your waking life. Dreams and nightmares alike are amazing because they can be used as tools to better understand yourself as a whole, if you're experiencing difficulty in waking life, dreams may help you work through your troubles. I feel that if you can put a positive spin on a not so great experience, then you can find your way out of it quicker. Hope this helps:)

Well firstly your English is just fine. Secondly, is there something u can think of that may have triggered this? Anything happen recently in your life or scheduled to happen? Maybe once u resolve this it will stop.
