When I'm watching TV and a character says something or mentions something I feel the need to repeat what they've said outloud. I've tried not saying it but it just keeps bugging me and I scream it at myself in my head until I do say it outloud. If I whisper it, I have to say it louder or else I'll keep thinking it over and over till I say it louder.
i have to replay stuff and try to copy it by saying it outloud, but wen other people do it, it REALLY ANNOYS ME!
How often? Do you repeat every line, or every so often you'll hear something you need to repeat?
Seems harmless, but I could see being annoyed if you were repeating everything and I was watching TV with you. :)
Do you ever watch "The Middle" ? There's the youngest son who repeats something he said in a whisper every so often. For example "Dad, you told me you would take me to the movie" *whispers* "Movie"
It's not every line but it is quite frequent. And I don't just whisper one word ofsomething I whisper maybe a sentence or two, sometimes a whole speech. I just remember the whole thing and I repeat it in my head. I try to block it out and forget about it but it doesn' go away so I end up having to say it.

Hmm well it feels good. Not exactly normal but pretty good.
This sounds like it could be a symptom of Tourette's syndrome (it's not all swearing, you know!). But that's just my view, I'm not a doctor or anything.
