Repeating random dreams of the same girl

4 years ago I was in a relationship with a girl but it didn't work out. I haven't seen her for almost a year, I rarely ever talk to her, I have no feelings for her what so ever, she barely even exists to me. So about 2 years ago I started having dreams about her, and each dream gets progressively closer to me having sex with her. I get really close but we never have sex. Each dream is about 4-6months apart and they're all very realistic. In these dreams I can touch, smell, and taste everything, I can even think like I would normally. They're definitely not wet dreams, they're just insanely realistic and they always involve her. I have no attachment to her what so ever so why am I having these dreams?!

    I have been through this once before i really really hated the girl but as it turns out my brain knew something i didnt and i had a good healthy long term relationship with her.
    And to be honest years later i still kinda have a crush on her. In fact its now quite unpleasent im not sure theres much you can do.

    If you no longer know her run with it if you see her regularly think about the things you dont like about her physically.

    Okay, I have a plan.

    You know about lucid dreams, right? Where you know that you're dreaming. Get searching for resources and learn the techniques. If you're having that dream again, you should become lucid/aware. Tell her what you think about her. Then she might go away.

    It's a good technique for resolving recurring dreams, especially nightmares.
