Relationships: commmon interests or variety?

Is a relationship better when they have all the same interests, some of the same interests and some of their own, or they have no common interests? I personally beliece they should have some common interests and some of their own interests, otherwise I think you would get bored. If i wanted to date myself, I would.

    I think having as many interests in common, at least for me, is the best. But of course, having individual opinions withing those interests.

    ex.) both liking indie music but having your own favorite indie bands.

    i feel that there has to be some common or compatible interests. so we have things we can do together, instead of always complaining about things related to the others interests.I dont want everything to be the same, just enough we can get along and have fun together. I want some variety though, it would probably be boring otherwise for both of us.

    I like having a few things in common, but I also like it when I can start to appreciate the things that another person likes.

    I said doesnt matter because I think if there is chemistry, and you like eachother that most times you develop common interests

    I agree with you. Some the same (so you can share time doing those things together), and some different (so you can pursue your own thing but also so you have something to talk about that your partner may not know about).
