Relationship with my cousin?
Well, I've always known that I had this cousin, but because of family differences we had never met... untill last year in 2009. We started talking, alot & shortly after confessed that we both had very strong feelings for eachother & it was confusing. We met for the first time shortly after we started talking & it was definately a very physical attraction as well. We've obviously kept this relationship a secret for the most part. I have read that other people are in similar situations with cousins & my question is did anyone in a similar reltionship let their families know? We've decided we want to be together but I have no idea how to go about telling my family & him his. I've told some friends and a few cousins know but it'll be different with the older generation of the family.
I've considered letting them know last minute, over the phone, letter, something that wouldn't cause me to see their reaction. But, that doesn't seem fair. So what would you suggest? Is this a normal concern? or am I making too big a deal of it?
