People will say that oppists attract, but it takes more than lust to keep it together for long term. The more that you are alike, the better the relationship will be, otherwise you will have much to argue about and many times you will consider the others opinion stupid. Think about it, where do you go to eat, what movies to watch, where to spend money or to save it? you need things in common to enjoy together.
opposites do attract, but the relationship won't last for long. For long term relationships, you have to have things in common.
Actually, it's been proven through psychological experiments that the most successful relationships are those between two similar people, but I agree with howaminotmyself.
I think it's both, you need to be different from one another or else things will get boring. But you also can't be complete opposites because you'll never agree on anything. I think the two peoples foundation needs to be the same in order for a relationship to work the little things can be different, makes things interesting.
I know of this couple and you would honestly take them for brother and sister. They have the same hair colour, same eye colour, same hair style and there's only a few inches differece in their height. To be honest they look quite corrupt together really. I think oppersites attract not only with couples but with friends, too. xx
In the beginning it usually is "opposites attract", but for the relationship to succeed you've got to have a lot in common in order to be able to understand each other. Its possible to find someone like this, but if you go searching you won't find it.
