Regarding pokemon x and y, what do you think of "fairy" types?

Examples:
Klefki (Steel/Fairy)
Dedenne (Electric/Fairy)
Xerneas (Fairy)
and
Slyveon (Fairy)

Personally, I think that this whole Fairy thing is stupid, too feminine (Yes, I'm female), unneccessary, bogus, and lastly, they shouldn't have made alot of previous pokemon into Fairy types. I mean really. Gardevoir? Granbull? Azumarill? It's completely moronic. If they really wanted more fairy types, they should've just created more gen 6 pokemon with a fairy typing than to fuck up the typing of earlier pokemon (More examples would be Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Whimiscott, Togepi, and Mawile). All I can say is, that's one reason Gen 6 sucks and I refuse to buy/play the newest games. If you like it fine. Your call. But for me, I'm done with pokemon (as far as playing new games that is. I'll still play games from gen 1 through 5).

They're AWESOME! 5
They're Ok, But not great. 4
I like them. 3
They suck. Period. 3
ARRRGGGHHH! I HATE THE NEW FAIRY POKEMON! 5
I don't play Gen 6 games. 6
Never played or watched pokemon. 8
Some are cool, some aren't. 6
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

It's not the first time they've introduced a new type and slapped it onto already existing Pokemon. Furthermore, they did it because Dragon types were OP as fuck and wanted to balance things out.

I kind of agree. "Fairy" is a more accurate description of most Normal type Pokemon than "Normal" is (what the fuck does "normal type" even mean?), but if you've run with the word "normal" for five generations I don't see the point in adding a new word that seems to describe the exact same thing. I also think that in many ways the Pokemon it describe are the least exciting. It's not redundant, and the change is better late than never, but it also creates too much confusion to retroactively change the properties of Pokemon which have existed from the first generation.

Haha, a little late aren't you?
Really wasn't fond of the idea at first but now, meh, they're okay. A'ight. (Though I'm not really happy at changing the old Pokemon's types to include fairy.)

It deals with the Dragon type being so damn OP (over powered). For some reason I couldn't get that into X/Y, though, never got all that far.

i think fairy types are good because pokemon just HAD to make a type thats super effective against dragon

Why do you think feminine is a bad thing? I'm too poor for video games but from what I've seen of them I like them.

Whenever I think about anything passed Hoenn and more, I feel like puking. I mean seriously! They ****ing changed Jigglypuff and Clefairy into Fairy-Types! (Ooh! My first censored word on here!) WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE NORMALNESS??!

AND HOW IS CHARIZARD NOT A DRAGON-TYPE?!

    Stupid Spritzee.

P.S.: I got a card pack (Gotta collect 'em all! Ugh... All 718...) and Togepi was still a Normal/Colorless.

Odd seeing an adult playing pokemon, But whatever. Any ways, I don't know much about pokemon so I have no opinion, Sorry.

It was a bit of a pain in the ass with the introduction of the new type cause that changed everything /:

Perhaps you could graduate to a more "adult" video game.
