Refusing to go to high school

I refused to go to high school when the time came and basically left school under the pretense of homeschooling. I'm afraid of young people, confident looking people, good looking people, most people period. I have had for a long time now insanely, insanely low self-esteem. I am very lonely. Is it normal to feel as bad as that? Are school refusals very common?

    i feel the same way, i HATE being judged sometimes i dont even leave the house.

    Go to school. Everyone goes through it. Maybe going thru it will fix your anxiety.

    I think you were smart for not going to high school it kept you from all the heartbreaking drama. But highschool does perpair you for the real world it will make you be able to cope with things. If you go your confidence will improve and you wont be as lonley

    social anxiety.

    it sucks that you feel that way, but you really need to go. what are you going to do when you need to get a job? do you plan on getting married? having kids?

    if its really bad, get therapy. but avoiding your problems and home-schooling because of this is not going to do anything but make it worse.

    I started homeschooling now, near the end of my junior year, once my best
    Friend ditched me and I felt detached from everyone and everything

    Here's my advice: somehow get over your huge feelings of inadequacy.

    Big leap, but it is the foundation of your misogyny, racism, sexism etc.. A big leap for you.

    Try to create what your child will need: a secure economic and interpersonal family foundation. Then you will be OK.

    But frankly, I think these are beyond your reach.

    Your writing is miles ahead of the average at this site. I think you made a wise decision. However if you are lonely, go out and meet others outside of a school environment, it is almost the same experience.

    I would still stick with how you are learning because like I said, you are far better than the 'tards that roam this site.
