Red dots all over legs

I was about to shave my legs but then I saw tiny red dots all over my legs and it's not dry skin or a rash could it be from the sun?

After shaving certain areas I get this as well. For me, the little red bumps are ingrown hairs. The hair will grow but it doesn't grow out the hole in your skin that it grew out of before you shaved. It grows up through your skin causing a new hole basically. It's like VERYyy slowly stabbing your self from the in side out with a hair... Once you break the skin for the hair to rise through unobstructed, the bump will go away. It's normal but it sucks. I'm a guy so I've resorted to not shaving down there, just trimming since I have this problem.

Razor burn, If you get it don't use lotion it hurts worse! jus tlet it go away don't try to soothe it, because moisture makes it worse.

Razor burn. Try some lotion, apply it after you shower. It might be an allergic reaction if it's not razor burn.

if they are slightly raised and slightly resemble a pimple then i would say it is razor burn. if they are not raised then they may be a hyperpigmentation from the sun's ray.

If you live in the mid- west, south or east of the U. S., they have very tiny bugs, often referred to as " chiggars", very tiny bugs that burrow under the skin and create red, bumpy, and itchy rashes. If you live in any of these regions of the country and have been walking in tall grass or wooded areas, you might want to check this possibility out... They aren't fatal or permanent, just ugly and uncomfortable for a couple weeks.

Depends what kind of dots youre talking about. Could be heat rash, or hives. I myself have very fair, sensitive skin & sometimes you can see where my hair folicals are.
