Recurring fictional locations in dreams

Is it normal to have dreams about the same fictional locations in my dreams? Every month or two I have a dream about a completely fictional movie theater that is grandiose and several stories tall, and every dream is consistent in its details of the theater. I could tell you, from memory, details of the layout, the surrounding area, and even minute details of the place. How normal is this?

    Fascinating. For years I have dreamed of places that patently do not exist in the real world, yet are aways the same when I go there in dreams.

    Your subconcious mind is trying to communicate with you. it being reocurring like that means there is some definite msg there. dreams can represent a fear or anxiety, be some kind of msg of the future, maybe represent something youre already aware of. when u wake from the dream, are u relieved its a Dream? or does it stick with u?

    I have a few different locations that I have dreams in, but it's never the same dream, just the same place.

    I have recurring fictional locations in my dreams as well. My actual dreams aren't recurring, only the locations are.
