Recommendations for women birth control?

So my boyfriend and I are sexually active, but I don't want to just use condoms anymore. I want to double up on his and my own protection so I am a college student who has made an appointment at planned parenthood this month.

Though I have done some research, I would like to know the best form of birth control that you women like to use. Convenience, affordability, and definitely practicality are the three main points I need to know for your decision and why. Also any pros and cons are much appreciated. Thank you ladies!

    Butt sex only. A swift kick to the stomache also works. Both are very cheap.
