Recent sex scandal in the news

I was watching TV this morning before work and an expose regarding the University of Louisville men's basketball team was the top story. Apparently strippers had been getting hired to entertain recruits and entice them to sign to play with the University. The woman who documented this was actually someone who worked as part of it with an assistant at the University. She kept journals of the interactions and than revealed the entire sordid history which gave this story traction to begin with.

I watched half interested until they got to a part when it seems she hired 2 of her own daughters to take part in the "entertaining" of the potential recruits as well. I couldn't stop laughing. Here was a woman, sitting back playing the part of being completely innocent, when she wasn't at all. Documenting alleged illegal behavior, that she than included her own daughters in?

I'll leave it to you IINers to guess her race.

Is it normal?

Actually, a mother's job is done well when she teaches her daughters how to tell which type of guy is worth removing her panties for.

The mother's race is irrelevant and unless the daughters were minors, presumably they had a choice to take part

    • Race is not irrelevant. It is very relevant, and will always be relevant, long after both me and you are gone.

And the daughter was 15 years old.

Damn. I guess we missed a good party! We were invited to that party, but unfortunately the Lear Jet was broken down that weekend, AGAIN. That damn plane has caused us to miss so many great events.
Like that huge bash the Japanese PM threw at Fukushima on 11 March 2011, or the costume ball on 27 February, 2014 in the Crimean city of Sevastopol, just to name a couple.

    What was the illegal part?

    • Paying for sex (not a big deal) this also violates rules for the NCAA recruiting.

The main reason I made the story is because of this woman introducing her own daughter's to this behavior.

If paying for sex is no big deal then why does it matter if they were her daughters or someone else's daughters?

        • Do you have a daughter? Regardless, I know I wouldn't want introduce a 15 year old girl to prostitution whether she was my daughter or not.

What's even more astounding is there is absolute no focus on that whatsoever in the report this morning about that.

        • I cant speak for how other people raise children, but I wouldn't introduce my 15 year old daughter to prostitution.

      • Your story doesn't say anything about paying for sex, it says strippers. Stripping is legal and NCAA regulations aren't laws, so I still don't see the illegal activity.

        • If you follow the story an assistant coach hired strippers who then had sex for money with the potential recruits in an attempt to lure them to the university. I wasn't specific enough in using the term "entertaining". But that was what I meant. Those people are bound by the regulations of the NCAA, which as you mentioned correctly, are not laws.

What I found to be the most ridiculous about the whole story is how the black mother included her children in prostitution but the white interviewer made no mention of that at all. In fact if you google the story most of the write-ups mention nothing about that. It's only in the comments sections from readers of the stories that make any mention of it.

    • Sex for money (not a big deal), more so for violating recruiting regulations.

The point I'm trying to make is no one made any mention at all of how ridiculous it is she included HER OWN DAUGHTERS as part of this whole thing. One was 15 years old.
