I'm basically broke I go to place my order then the next day I realize i forgot the promo code that would've saved me $40 that i planned to use 😱
I contacted the company they said it has already processed so they can't do anything or apply the coupon
The only way you learn wisdom is by learning from mistakes you make or from mistakes other people make; and accepting responsibility for the mistakes you make.
The financial and order transaction is usually completed within 30 seconds of pressing "accept" - so their explanation is totally correct.
Expecting someone else to pay for a mistake you made is rather immature, and you are not going to really learn the lessons you need to do well in life unless you accept your own mistakes.
I'll admit that can be rather hard. The key to financial success in life is having enough money to cover your mistakes. I've made mistakes that cost me many thousands of dollars. Last year I made one that cost me close to $500 - and I'm in my mid 60's and have a lifetime of learning from mistakes (so I make far fewer of them).
I encourage you to accept this - learn the lessons you need to learn in order to do better, and learn to explain to people that you made a mistake and will do better next time.

if the seller wont cancel then call the card company and cancel it
Yeah if youre low on cash its pretty normal to be upset you spent money you didnt have to.
What company is this? I've fucked up when ordering clothes, food, and video games online and they were usually fine with refunding me money. XD
