Real life movie

Ever since I was a kid, I've always felt like I'm acting in a movie - every day. It's like my life is one big movie. I'm a star, and millions of people are watching.
I talk to myself, out loud, and talk to the "audience." I've only told a few people this, and they think I'm crazy.
I'm 28 now, and I still do this. It's only when I'm alone though. Even when I'm just doing something simple, like crossing the street, I'll talk out loud, like I'm narating my life or something.
Is this normal?

There was a moving with Will Ferral and Annette Benning in it. Will is trying to live his life like every other day until one day, he hears a female voice narrate his life. Somehow, he finds out that this author (Annette) is writing a book and (Will) is the main character of her book. He manages to come face to face with her where in which she tells him that she plans to kill his character off.

I don't remember the rest of the plot. I rented that movie many years ago and I don't think I ever saw the ending. The film is interesting and brings to mind a lot of "what ifs". I brought it up because it reminded me of what you do.

Niceeeeee! Used to happens to me all the time!! I remember when I was child and my mom yelling me for any reason, I felt like .... Many people watching me like a audience!!
And also when I was alone front of the mirror, doing a lot of things, I don't think we are normal but, is not something bad.

Lol. I sometimes do that, but not all the time. It helps me practice acting. It's fun!

I used to do this all the time. I outgrew it and hardly ever do it anymore. Who knows though? Shakespeare said, "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players."

if 'the man on the moon' had been 'normal' he wouldn't have gotten half the fame he did. So if fame or noteriety is your bag maybe you should get working on that stand-up routine, otherwise without some vent for this stuff you could wind up a bit up a tree.

I don't know about using a narrative for crossing the street lmao, but the rest sounds familiar. After all, aren't movies a direct imitation of life??? Why not feel as though you are constantly performing a vital role in the story of your life? It makes everyday activities exciting and less mundane. To be honest, I do the same thing to an extent. Most people do I think. We even go to the length of creating soundtracks for scenarios and give monologues in the bathroom mirror. I think you may be a little quirky with it, but creative people often do silly things like this. Maybe you are meant to write a script or something. I can picture you speaking to your "audience"...too funny an image. No I don't think you are insane because of it. People often knock what they can't understand. You seem to have it under control. I'm sure your friends have their own theories on life and do their own acting also. You may not be "normal" but you are you and that's all that should matter. Good Luck!

    ~Peace~

No way, not normal, talking to yourself is a sign of mental problems. Probably only very slight ones but you should talk to a psychiatrist about it. Plus you're paranoid and think you're being watched. As kids we all tend to be egotistical so consider ourselves as the most important. Your view of things probably stems from this...But yeah seek expert help maybe if it inteferes with your life. Since you've been doing it for so long, its probably going to be hard to stop.
